So I went to Phoenix Arizona with the Blue Yonders. A great set of gigs with a really fun band to mix.
Here's the adventure in pictures.
The first gig. Show went really well. We sold out this 900 seat theater. That we were told never sells out.
Ended up at a Spanish place where I met Paul's sister who just happened to be in town. They had live flamenco which was pretty incredible.
The restaurant was on this cool riverwalk in Scottsdale. Awesome spot. I wish there was something like this closer to me.
Some cool views of the landscape.
These weird red rocks. They looked purposefully placed there.
Another gig at a tiny theater.
A rain plan gig. We were supposed to play an outdoor amphitheater but rain said otherwise. We went to a large community center and the place was packed. They actually projected a second area so that everyone could see.
My main view of that show.
On the way home I drove the truck with Bics. He had brought his dog Bella. She is a sweetheart. We left after the gig and made it to Palm Springs to slum it at the hotel.
Life on the road can be hard sometimes.
Someone has to do it.

Spelling Police
I don't know if you were aware of this dear reader but most, if not all, computers (as well as word processors) have spell check in them. Maybe give it a try sometime.
Also you should know better than flushing paper towels down the toilet.
Also you should know better than flushing paper towels down the toilet.
This one just bugs me because no one ever spells my name right.

Funky Dogs
It's just a hot dog cooker!! Nothing about it is "funkadelic" If anything it resembles the cart from the movie Sleepers. (Did anyone see that) The kids accidentally drop a cart down a subway and horrible things ensue. Hardly funkadelic.
This is Funkadelic!

Gig Pic
I'm working for KPS for an event with Kaiser. So once again I have the Dr. Band. They were fun but everybody and their brother got to play a song. Hectic evening. I worked this gig with Alex. It was at some ballroom in Napa. Long day but fun. I had just come from a seminar on Smaart. I have the shirt to prove it.
