Flights

I officially gave up on my dream of space a. I bought a ticket to make sure I get my ass home.

So i collected my bag and headed off base to meet Bob. Im headed back home to figure out what to do next.

I got my bag back. You know what that means? My flight was delayed until tomorrow. Boooo.

Im attempting a space A flight home. I woke up early to make it to Dover.
I was manifested on the flight but it was cancelled last minute.

Im waiting here until 5 which is the call time for the next flight to Travis!

Journey Home

With a little help from some Space A travel, I was able to make it home for the holidays. (I'm posting this from home)

I met up with Mr.T, Chris, and Ralph while in the D.C. area. Then Bob came to get me. I've had such a nice relaxing time at home. I haven't been home for Xmas in years.

Here are the highlights,

Veto getting sleepy.

My first batch of Xmas toffee I made by myself. Turned out amazing.

Sweet, Sweet Yuengling. I only see you but so often.

Oh Libby you are adorable.

Learning about Hanukkah with Sarah and Dan.

My old stocking. It's been mine every Christmas for 30 years.

Mel's Birthday

Mel and I had a party at my place for her birthday.

We got mexican food from Dos Coyotes, one of Mel's favorite restaurants. I set up a fire pit that Mike gave me for xmas.

There were mojitos and merriment. Mel wanted karaoke but I did not have karaoke. So i grabbed an sm58 and patched it into the stereo. This worked well enough as long as you knew the words to the song.

Foxy Boxing?!?

So Mike and I saw a sign made with gaff tape near the highway. It advertised Foxy Boxing at the Elmira Cabin.

Intrigued we attended.

It was not foxy and barely boxing. We stayed for a few fights. The pictures are from the first two. They used socker boppers as boxing gloves. It was ridiculous. The fighters there got really winded really quick. Athletes they were also not.
