Interesting Names

I had some drinks with friends the other night and our waiter has the worst (or most awesome) parents.

His name was laser.

Either that or he used to be on American gladiators.

Black Friday

I decided to camp out with a new friend from the band Stephen Denison.

He wanted to get a set of speakers and best buy had them for half off. It was a good deal. I was going to meet him there at around midnight. Steve decided to show up around 7:30. It's good he did or we may have been way in the back of the line. Anyway I met a nice woman named Laura while waiting in line.

I think our smiles are more from the warmth of the store than anything else.

She was after a laptop and fortunately she secured one. She told me about her time in the Army and her deployments. I felt bad telling my deployment stories as mine were no comparison to her Army medic stories. It was good company for a long cold evening. I know Steve would have rather slept but I was up all night (freezing to death).

The store was an absolute mad house. I went around looking for deals but couldn't find anything. I was really there for the fun of it. (I know I'm insane)

GWAR!!

Jason had talked me up for a few weeks and I decided I wanted to see this one. I had never heard any of Gwar's music but I knew of their over the top live show and had to go see it.

The show started at 7 and had three opening acts. None of which I cared for at all.

This was the second opening act. They definitely looked the part. So after the grueling 3 hours of openers, Gwar takes the stage.

They did not disappoint. In full costume regalia they proceed to melt my face with ridiculous metal and plenty of fake blood and whatever the green stuff was. I was in the pit for nearly the entire show. It was an amazing and slightly frightening experience.

Here is me exiting the pit after the show

Here's one of me and Jason right after. His shirt was white when we went in.

Thanks to Mike and Brandon as well for joining on this ridiculous concert.

Bring Back The Bomb!!!!!!
