Training?

I'm doing some of the computer training for deployment. One of the new ones has to do with being detained and interrogated. Here is my captor. More appropriately the computer being my actual captor.

Beard Season

While on leave I grew out my freedom beard again. After I went back to work I kept the moustache for a little while. How perfect that I needed a new ID. Now I get to show this any time someone asks for ID even after the 'stache is gone.

Ladies try to control yourselves.

Spirooli Pasta

I got Mel a spirooli pasta maker for Xmas. It shreds vegetables into long noodles. Pretty amazing. Here is "spaghetti" and meat balls. Tasty and a whole lot less filling.

Xmas Travel

I took my two weeks of leave from work around christmas. My leave didnt actually start until the 26th. I signed up for space A and flew out that day. It was amazingly easy. I got a flight on a C-17 to Norfolk. Space A is the most comfortable and easy way to fly. If you can get it.
So while I was home I got to hang with the family. The first morning I got up I found my grandmother and my niece hanging out downstairs.
Here's Libby being the happiest child I've ever seen. She doesnt instantly start crying when she sees me. Now she's just a joyous little girl. Kate had some weird hand tattoos. I put one on of the hipster dog.
He had the prerequisite moustache and glasses. I named him Troy Weinerhunt. Pronounced with an umlaut. For some reason I gave him a french accent when he talked to Libby or anyone else. I have no other explanation other than hipster.
I had to buy a plane ticket home. I flew out of BWI so I hitched a ride with my sister Sarah back to her new place and hung out with her and Dan. I saw my friends Ralph and Dr. T for lunch while my sister was at work. Ralph almost hooked me up with a gig but it fell through. I was fortunate it did because we all went for Indian food for new years. Sarah took a photo of me and Dan being goofy at the table so I answered back by snapping her on her phone. Her picture was better.

All of us being old people now went home and hung out. Sarah passed out before the ball dropped. Dan proceeded to school me on some Wii archery. We caught the ball drop and some of the most awkward TV hosting I've ever seen. I then went straight to bed as my flight was early the next day.

Fun and quick trip home. I'll have to do it again soon.
